Schorle (SHOR-luh): two parts sparkling water, one part real fruit, a pinch of minerals. No added sugar or sweeteners.*
You can't fake great taste.

Apple
Just apple. Nothing to figure out.
Crisp New York Fuji apples.

Strawberry Apple
Strawberry, with a zesty friend.
Sweet strawberry, crisp apple, a squeeze of lime.

Mango Apple
The king of mangoes, acting casual.
100% Alphonso mango purée, crisp apple.
Wait, isn’t that just soda, a sports drink, seltzer, sparkling juice?
Nope. It’s Schorle (SHOR-luh). Its own thing.
In the Alps, it’s what you drink after the climb, at lunch and after practice. The recipe is simple:

Water
Two parts sparkling water. Purified by reverse osmosis. The next best thing to a glacial spring.

Fruit
One part real fruit. Never from concentrate. No added flavors.
New York-grown Fuji apples and pure fruit purées, like 100% Alphonso mango.

Electrolytes
Calcium, magnesium, potassium, and a pinch of sea salt.
Just enough for practice, and after.
That’s the whole recipe.

Meet the
dahu.
Ask around in the Alps and the locals might send you hunting for the legendary Dahu: a mountain goat with legs shorter on one side than the other. Not so great at changing direction. Perfect for steep slopes.
The Dahu hunt may be a classic Alpine joke but we fell for him anyway. He's curious, always on the go, and a little bit of a troublemaker.
Sounds like a few kids we know. A few adults too.
Good luck keeping up.
Dahu was here.
